Happy Pi (π) Day!

Pi is a Greek letter, shown here in a sans serif typestyle, that stands for the relationship of a circle’s circumference to its diameter.

Pi itself is a so-called “irrational” number, which I just re-learned, is a decimal that goes on forever without repeating.

According to mathisfun.com, Pi has been calculated to over a quadrillion decimal places and still there is no pattern.

3.1415926535897932384626433832795 (and more…) rounds to 3.14, or March 14.
